Dr. Roman Krupa was born in Slovakia and grew up in the New York City area. He attributes his unique and diverse perspectives on health from both his multi-disciplined educational and experiential background—which ranges from aeronautics, the recording industry, construction to field work as an audio and video technician—as well as from the trials and tribulations of his personal health challenges and his ultimate healing beginning almost twenty years ago.
After being told that his condition was “incurable”, he embarked on a crusade to get to the heart of the matter pursuing years of self-study and research into the various philosophies and therapies of natural medicine. His determination and zeal led to his own healing and what he calls a “second chance at life”. It was in moments of gratitude and (long awaited) clarity that he decided to dedicate his life to helping others in their healing process. He is excited and privileged to share his passion and inspiration via his eclectic approach, working with people of all ages with acute and chronic conditions to help them regain their health and well-being.
Dr. Krupa believes that health is not merely the absence of disease, rather a dynamic state of being characterized by clarity of mind, emotional equilibrium, physical vitality and balance. Experience has shown him that one can regain a true, authentic state of health by focusing on and creating wellness in one’s life. Consequently, he approaches his patients from a wider mind-body perspective. Through an amalgamation of modern science and ancient wisdom he affords his patients an accurate diagnosis along with the most appropriate and effective treatments.
Dr Krupa has received advanced training in intravenous (IV) therapy, has studied with world-renowned homeopaths as well as at the prestigious Thermae Piestany Spa in Slovakia where he received instruction in balneotherapy. Piestany is one of Central Europe’s oldest medical spas known worldwide for their healing waters and hydrotherapy treatments. He is the author of numerous articles, including "Homeopathy, a Solution to Our Growing Health Care Needs", and "Living in a Polluted World". He has been interviewed on the radio and lectures on a host of health related topics (check out our calendar for upcoming lectures). Dr Krupa is a graduate of the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon and offers services in:

Dr Krupa continues his life-long adventure of psychospiritual cultivation. He lives in SE Portland with his wife Laura and daughter Sofia.
